The Award Winning Mizuno Endure24, it’s like Glastonbury for runners, it’s a 24 hour running party in the woods. Free camping for runners, friends, family and support crews. 24 hour catering, showers and massage are available throughout the event weekend. The race village will be full of music and entertainment with live result updates screened throughout the race. Ultra-running has never been this much fun.

Mizuno Endure24 is a unique event in the running calendar, it mixes serious ultra-running with a 24 hour team relay race. Virtually anyone of any ability level can take part and enjoy a challenging but rewarding weekend of trail running. Our five mile woodland and trail routes are incredibly scenic and end with a loop around the event race village where the awesome support from your fellow runners never stops.

Mizuno Endure24 is all about the teams, run as a pair, small team 3-5 runners or large team 6-8 runners. Over 2700 runners will run as part of a team. There is no need to worry about how fast you are, just complete as many 5 mile laps as you can in 24 hours. Most people will complete 3 – 5 laps, many people will run much further than they ever thought possible. The party starts at 10.00am Friday morning.

Mizuno Endure24 welcomes serious ultra-runners, solo and pairs benefit from their own camping area within the race village close to all the facilities with a dedicated covered support area. Solo ultra-runners get amazing support from the teams. The event record is 135 miles set in 2016 by Paul Beechey and around 15 runners each year join the 100 Mile Club receiving the coveted yellow 100 mile club t-shirts.

Great Challenge - Great Weekend

With a team of 4 particularly ordinary runners we knew the Endure 24 was going to be hard work but was it worth it! Absolutely. The course was great offering enough up, downs and woodland jinks but actually for us it was the festival like environment we loved. There's nothing quite like an endurance event with friends as a team. Genuinely loved this and would go as far as saying it's my favourite event of 2016! Fully, fully recommend!

Running community spirit at its best

24 hour emotional and physical roller coaster but worth it for that team finish line. If you're careful with your team selection and ensure you've got the same aims and are willing to muck in its a brill event. Accepting the showers unavoidably were grim again was a breakthrough so embrace the eau d'Endure and enjoy (all bar that bloody hill!!!) Great support through the camp through the night too but the most supportive atmosphere from all runners around the route

Unbeatable atmosphere

Really well organised event with fantastic support from the marshals, support teams & fellow runners throughout. Did it as a pair in '13 and solo '16, it's incredible how much the event has grown but it still maintains a friendly, fun & lively atmosphere. Must be one of the best endurance events around for this reason.

I loved this event, my legs, not so much.

Absolutley loved this event... It's a fantastic route around a beautiful area. When times get tough there are some lovely trees and plants to look at along the way and make you smile. The event village is great fun and the buzz is awesome. So many lovely people around running hard but having a laugh in between. The food in the cafe seemed a little overpriced but didn't stop most of us buying our food there. Camping was good, not too much traffic on departure, the usual toilet issues but they were quickly and effectively resolved. Really well managed event Thoroughly looking forward to next years event but hoping to have more people in the team.

Mental and physical endurance required!

Having been drafted into a team of 5 at the last minute, I was relying on my general fitness to get me through - 5 miles isnt really that hard is it...? What I didn't factor in was sleep deprivation, muscles seizing up between runs and trying to work out how much to eat/drink between runs! Atmosphere is incredible and everyone respects each other's commitment to the event regardless of ability. It really does feel more like a festival than a running event - until you actually run of course. Very surreal running through a wood at 3 in the morning with noone around you (for short periods until you happen upon a slower runner or are passed by a quicker runner), but absolutely loved it. Will definitely do it again - although maybe I need my head examining!

Fantastic event!!

My friend and I both decided to enter this fantastic event as solo runners to enable us to run laps together, the camping area for the solo runners is located next to the start/finish area which was quite handy as it enabled us to replenish supplies regularly. I found the toilets and showers to be perfectly adequate, the goody bags and t-shirts were great too!! The course is very well marked out and well marshalled, there are a few hills but as they say what goes up must come down!! Halfway round there is a large wooden hut with some great volunteers in that hand out water, gels etc and also hand out encouragement! After the hut you then reach the guys with the vw van with music playing out and lots more encouragement, a climb up heartbreak hill follows which if you walk it isn't too much bother. Following that was my favourite part of the course, downhill through nice flowing terrain and then back into the race village and the hundreds of people offering fantastic support!! I will definitely be back next year and I really recommend this event to beginners through to seasoned ultra runners as you can do any amount of laps as you wish in 24 hours. I also found the hot food on offer in the very large catering tent to be reasonably priced, there's nothing like a decent burger once you've finished! One more thing, after each lap we got a mention over the tannoy which really gave us a lift, thanks very much ??

Fantastic event for all abilities

I did Endure24 in 2014, and had a horrible time, the weather was horrible and the course was extremely muddy and not enjoyable at all, I only managed 10 miles (2 laps). Fast forward to 2016, got talked into doing it again and was dreading it in the week leading up to it! I had some demons to deal with! How wrong I was! I absolutely loved it, I did 4 laps in total, 20 miles which is the furthest ever I have run and I wanted to do 4 laps as am planning a marathon so wanted to see what I was capable of. The course has changed since 2014, but for the better as far as I am concerned, it's a lovely trail run and people are so friendly and talkative on the route...am planning a return next year! Showers were pants so decided to go au natural for 24 hours! Great marshalling too...! Sign up for it now!

Great weekend of running

Thoroughly enjoyed this weekend of running and camping! It is a superbly organised event with a varied and challenging 5 mile course. The event village had a great atmosphere and all needs were catered for. Good medal to.

We Came, We Saw, We Endured!

As part of Team MCHQ this was my first Endure24 experience. It was a fantastically organised event, and much bigger than I'd imagined. Friendly participants and highly spirited marshals kept everyone smiling even through the early hours of morning and the scenic 8km lap distance was just enough to punish but not enough to cause death by the end of seven rounds! Definitely recommend this to anyone looking to test themselves as a trail runner and very accessible to most with a reasonable level of fitness.
